On June 30, 2021, 3PL Central is discontinuing our support for HTTP to enhance our system security. As part of this effort, you are required to update any API integrations that you and/or your customer(s) utilize to use HTTPS if these integrations were not built or deployed by 3PL Central. This article reviews how to update your custom-built API integration to comply with our security standards.
If you and/or your customer(s) only utilize API integrations that were built or deployed by 3PL Central, this information is not relevant to you and no action is required for updating your integrations.
To prevent service disruptions, you must update your integrations to utilize HTTPS before June 30, 2021. If you have any questions that are not answered in this article, please reference our Security Initiative FAQs.
Notify the party responsible for building/maintaining the integration that we are no longer accepting traffic over HTTP. Your developer or IT professional will be familiar with what steps to take in your specific instance.
If your developer or IT professional has any questions about how to approach this, please ask them to leverage 3PL Central Community's developer forum.
